Built with Apple Intelligence

What it does
One meeting, start to finish
Four steps, and none of them is your work: pressing a button, pasting a quote somewhere, hand-formatting a document.
And after
The search field looks through every meeting's title and summary, not just its name.
Straight from the context menu. No odd dialog, no leftover confirmation.
Every transcript line carries its exact minute, the same one that reaches the file.
The system highlighter, in whatever colour you like. Colours and highlights survive saving.
Every cell is an editable field. The wrong owner gets corrected in place, not rebuilt.
⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z work on the summary, like a real text editor.
The ✨ button writes a new summary — and warns before discarding what you edited.
The meeting and its files go to the Finder Trash together, and you can bring them back.
The whole point
Not an opinion — the architecture. Listener sends no audio, no transcript and no summary anywhere, because there is no server to send them to.
Transcription is Apple's Speech. The summary is Apple's on-device model. No third-party API is involved.
There is no sign-up, no e-mail to register, nothing tying your licence to a server.
Recording, transcribing and summarizing are all local. With the Wi-Fi off, it behaves the same.
No dependency, no Electron, no framework. A native app, wearing the system's materials and behaviour.

Transcription follows your Mac's language; if Apple has no model for it, the app falls back to English or Portuguese to match the system.

FAQ
Yes. You pay once, there is no renewal and no account to create. The app is yours, and it keeps working without a single network call.
Yes: you can record or import up to 3 meetings on this Mac, with no account and nothing sent over the internet. After that, the app asks for a licence before new recordings or imports; meetings you already have stay open to read, edit and export. The trial is per install on this Mac — deleting and reinstalling resets the counter.
An Apple silicon Mac on macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later. Summaries need Apple Intelligence, the same requirement the system itself has for the local model. The installer only continues on Apple silicon with macOS 26. The app tells you if the system or Apple Intelligence is missing.
Your Mac's language. Transcription asks Apple's recognizer for the system language. If that language has no model, it falls back to English — or to Portuguese, when the Mac is set to Portuguese. The interface follows the Mac's language, in Portuguese and English. The summary language is a separate choice in Settings: automatic (the Mac's), Portuguese or English.
The licence key, on the next screen. That is what activates the app: there is no account to create. You install with a Terminal command, or by downloading the DMG. The app is not notarized yet. If macOS blocks it, go to System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Open Anyway.
Yes. By default, Listener writes the summary as soon as a recording ends. If you prefer to request it manually with the ✨ button on the meeting toolbar, you can turn automatic summaries off in Settings ▸ General.
Yes. In Settings ▸ Privacy you can keep the system default or pick a specific microphone for your recordings.
It separates your microphone (“You”) from your Mac's audio (“Others”). Among the people on the other side of the call, Apple's transcription does not separate individual voices — the summary only assigns a name when it is spoken in the conversation.
Yes. Recording, transcribing and summarizing all run on your Mac. Turning the Wi-Fi off changes nothing.
A native Swift app with no bundled runtime. It costs what the system costs, plus the on-device model while a summary is generating.
Installed in a minute. After that you barely remember it's there — until you do.
