Listener

Release notes

Improvements released in Listener. Update whenever you like — your meetings stay on your Mac.

Version 1.0.6

Who said what, an editable summary with tables and reading mode, plus a clearer, more accessible interface.

  • On-Mac diarization: lines as Person 1, Person 2…; rename, filter, listen to one voice, export TXT/SRT.
  • Two-column summary layout, task tables, timestamps linked to audio, editable title, and reading mode.
  • Per-speaker blocks in the summary, with shortcuts to hear each person’s lines.
  • Meetings open on Transcript by default; ⌘F search; menu bar recording with the window closed.
  • Refined VoiceOver, onboarding, trial, and paywall; import cancellation and recovery of interrupted recordings.

Version 1.0.5

Terminal install highlighted, free trial download on the site, and a clearer in-app trial.

  • “X of 3 free meetings left” banner during the trial and a clear sheet when the three are used up.
  • Download section with the recommended curl command and steps if macOS blocks a browser-downloaded DMG.
  • Requirements (Apple Silicon, macOS 26, Apple Intelligence) visible on the page in English and Portuguese.

Version 1.0.4

More reliable free-trial counting across reinstalls.

  • The three-meeting trial limit uses strengthened on-device checks, aligned with your existing library.

Version 1.0.3

Try Listener on three meetings before you buy — everything stays on your Mac.

  • Up to 3 free recordings or imports per install, with no account and nothing sent over the internet.
  • After the trial, meetings you already have stay open; new recordings need a licence.

Version 1.0.2

A stability fix for using Listener with Bluetooth headphones confidently.

  • When a recording ends, Listener fully releases the microphone so headphones return to normal audio without closing the app.

Version 1.0.1

A stability update so you can record with more confidence.

  • Mac audio is now recorded at the correct speed and timestamps, including 44.1 kHz outputs.
  • If a recording has a problem, its partial audio remains available for you to recover.
  • The installer verifies an update before replacing the app and restores the previous version if something goes wrong.
  • We removed the Mac audio silence notice, which could appear even when there was no real issue.
